Crashcourse will be Released on 29.09.2009
Like Marketing-chief Doug Lombardi said, that the Second Big DLC (Downloadable Content) for Left 4 Dead "Crash Course", will be release on following Tuesday [29.September.2009]. That update will get released at the same time for PC and Xbox 360. But console gamers have to pay ~7€ for that DLC, for Steam-User the DLC will be gratis. News release of Valve:

Some editors of the Gamemagazine PC Games visited Valve a few weeks ago, they were able to test Left 4 Dead 2, they composed a 6-page report. They wrote about whats new, good and not. Besides that they got some new Screenshots and Details of Left 4 Dead 2. Here are now some new Facts about Left 4 Dead 2.
The Faceanimations of the Survivors and Special Infected are supposed to be improved. Besides of the already uncloaked FireMunition shall there be ExplosivMunition, too. And you will be able to share the Munition with Teammates Additionally exist an alternativ to aspirin (Pills), a Adrenalinsyringe, wich is able to make that the Survivors can run for a few seconds faster. And you can take a defibrillator with you insteat of a Medkit. The Granate-Slot can be filled now withanother usefull extra, its called Boomer-Attractant, with that your able to distract the Zombies. And the Special-Infected of Left 4 Dead got graphically overworked
The conclusion of the Testers are something like:"The new Melee Weapons are a realy big enrichment." Infact i would say by myself the Game will be awesome, the Grafic, Gameplay, etc. But lets still hope that they are really Support Left 4 Dead when Left 4 Dead 2 get released. Might you read, Valve will release the Left 4 Dead 2 Demo soon, well Valve told Shacknews that the Demo will be released on 27.October.2009 but only exclusive for the People who preordered Left 4 Dead or for the People who are going to preorder Left 4 Dead 2, for all who don't preorder Left 4 Dead 2 the demo will be released on 3.November.2009, so you will have 2 Weeks to test Left 4 Dead 2 and to think about "Should i buy it? Yes or No". New L4D DLC announced [Crash course]
Seems like Valve wasn't lying about those promised DLC (or simply they wanted the world to stop whining about L4D 2 a bit).
Anyway, the new DLC will consist in a new map, that will be supposed to last 30 minutes - it's not clear if it's referred to the versus or the coop version.
According to the ufficial announcement, the spawn system will be adjusted to the pace of the new map, but, again, it's not clear how Valve wants to handle this.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.

New L4D 2 campaign being presented at ComicCon [Wet wet wet]
You know they said there will be weather variations on the upcoming title, L4D 2? Remember?
We all were gazing at the sunset in the daylight maps footage we seen.
We also were told weather was gonna affect the infected. The witch will wander around when the sun is up, for example.
But what about rain? Well, from the picture above, it doesnt seem the infected are happy when the weather is bad.
I mean, who is anyway?!
Left 4 Dead Survival Pack and DLC is almost out! [L4D]
Sorry i didn't update the blog at all these days, but i had an exam last week and this weekend i was too busy gaming to read the news and report you the latest stuff.
Anyway, FRAKKING BIG NEWS, the Left 4 Dead DLC, consisting of the death toll and dead air maps for the versus mode and the additional Survival mode is out in a few HOURS.
The update will be totally free and will be applied automatically.
Above and below there are two videos from the new survival mode, which has been detailed some days ago on the official L4D blog, with this post. There's nothing much to say, after you've read the article and watched the two vids. It will be a blast.
Also, i want to thank Valve, for making such awesome games and for updating them for free.

Left 4k Dead [2D Left 4 Dead]
I don't know if you heard about this, but it deserved to be posted.
This little java game is made of pure win!
Not only it's fun and challenging to play, but it also weights only 4 KB!
Congrats to Markus Persson for the awesome game and the programming skills.
A little tip if you are experiencing issues: update your Java Runtime Enviroment!
Expert is not that hard, you know. [L4D]
Especially if you have a group of 12 survivors.
It'd be fun to try out, but hey, this totally misses the point of playing an expert campagin, doesn't it?
Uh, and, by the way, good job with the dance party at the end of the video, that one made me laugh :D
Timing is the key [L4D]
As i said in the title, timing of an attack is the key, especially when you're playing as a hunter.
Still, this guy's got some impressive jumping skills.
And a horrible taste in music, i might add.
